First Week of Advent 2016 - Seeing Angels

The first week of Advent is here!

I am thinking about angels this week. This is the time of year when " I am so busy!" is an expression coming out of just about every mouth. 

But seriously, in the scriptures about the birth of Christ, I am thinking that no one was busier than the angels.  During this first week of Advent, take some time to read about what the angels were up to: 

Read the first Chapter of Luke and hear about visits from the Angel Gabriel to Zechariah and Mary.

The Gospel of Matthew tells of an angel who visited Joseph in his dream. 

Matthew 1: 18-25

The Shepherds are visited by angels in the fields.
