Two Sundays in a row this month we are celebrating the sacrament of Baptism! Sixth Church has a wonderful tradition of gifting our families with things to help commemorate their special day.
Our knitting group makes each child baptized a beautiful afghan that is prayed over and designed for each child.
The child and parents are gifted with a special memory book that is partially filled in with photos and blessings from church leaders and congregation members. Also, we give the families one of the two books also shown below. I have included the Amazon links where you can purchase them and take a closer look - they make lovely thoughtful gifts!
