Youth Pride Prom and Qamp!

  Just wanted to share some upcoming events for local teens.  GLSEN Pittsburgh hosting it's youth pride prom at this year it is back at the Warhol museum.

What's a youth pride prom you ask?  It's a terrific event where students age 13-20 can attend a prom and take any date they want! or don't take a date at all! 

This is a fun event for LGBTQ teens, allies, and any young people that want to have a great time in an open and inclusive environment.  Tickets are $10. Click here for tickets or contact me for more info.

I have had the pleasure of attending this event with students from the Washington County Gay Straight Alliance for several years now  - and I good time is always had by all. The Gatsby theme this year will no doubt inspire some great outfits.



Also, Dreams of Hope - which is a wonderful creative and performing  arts group for queer youth and allies - is hosting Qamp! again this summer Aug. 11th-15th. This is a summer camp for LGBTQ and Allied youth ages 13-19. Check out their website for more information:
