Resources - Reading and Creating Special Moments at Home
Here are two books that I think would be great resources for families at home.

Faithful Families:
Creating Sacred Moments at Home by
The Read-Aloud Family: Making Meaningful and Lasting Connections with Your Kids
This is a great book for those who want to incorporate reading aloud at home. For me the best part of this book are the reading lists.
The book is broken up into three parts. Part 1 goes through all the research about the benefits of reading aloud to children.
Part 2 is all about practical application. The author provides suggestions for questions to ask about books to encourage thought and great conversation. Another really valuable part of this book is the chapter on how to pick books for your family and what makes a good book.
Part 3 is the book list which are broken into four age groups, 0-3, 4-7, 8-12, and the teen years. The list includes classics, older and newer titles.
