Books: Homeless

This week a congregation member donated a book to our Sunday School shelves and I love it so much I want to share it with all of you.  (Thank you Leila Richards!)

"Homeless " by Mike Boyce is a wonderfully illustrated book that introducesyoung children to what it is like to be homeless. The story is told from the viewpoint of a child. The boy in the story describes what it is like to move from home to a relatives house and then to a hotel. They move from the hotel to the car and then to shelter.  It carries a warm message of family love through out it's pages. 

The author and Illustrator, Mike Boyce, created the book as final project as a student at the California College of Art and Design.  You can read more about author and order the book at his website www.mikeboyce.com.
