Lent: Coloring and Prayer

     Have you thought about coloring as a time of personal prayer, reflection and meditation? Adult coloring books have become really popular. You can get them in just about any book or craft store. We no longer have to sneak pages from the kid coloring books!  There are also tons of free download-able coloring pages on the Internet. Do a Google search for coloring pages. Pinterest is also a great resource for coloring pages. Grab some colored pencils, markers, crayons, or what ever you like and spend some time coloring. During lent, use the time while you are coloring to pray, reflect on scripture or just to be. 

This is a daily Lent calendar for kids (or adults!). Each day
during Lent take a moment of reflection on the day
and coloring in the path on the Easter.
