Back to Sunday School!
We are back to Sunday school this week!
This Sunday, the 1st through 7th grade classes will be reading and exploring Mark 9: 30-37.
This passage begins with the prediction of Jesus' death and resurrection and then tells of Jesus' discussion with the disciples about who and what is "greatness." Jesus then welcomes a child and reminds the disciples to care for and think about those who are smaller then us and those who have less.

"He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, 'whoever wants to be first must be last of all and servant of all." Mark 9: 35Here are some books that go well with this week's message:
This is an older book but is a good way to look at the scripture story of the disciples and their discussion of "who is the greatest." ... and we all love Judy Blume.
This classic book is great for younger children and is a parable about how foolish it can be to try to be the greatest.
