RETHINKING JUSTICE WORKSHOP-“WHAT DOES THE LORD REQUIRE?”

JANUARY 13-FEBRUARY 17, Tuesday Evenings,  7:30p.m. in the church parlor.

 

One of the great ends of the Presbyterian Church USA is “the promotion of social righteousness.” What is the Biblical mandate for doing justice? How is justice different from charity and mercy? How does one transform emotions of powerlessness and hopelessness into positive energy for change? What are the Scriptural foundations for organizing people power for change? How should we build upon 6th’s legacy of doing justice, and live out the command in the new year?
